A TriVerse

of Art, Technology,
and Leadership

My journey began at the prestigious Beijing Film Academy, where I deeply
studied Sound Design and Engineering. Subsequently, to shape my leadership
and broaden my horizons, I pursued further education in the UK, earning a
Master's degree in Broadcast and Film Management from Bournemouth
University. My academic foundation not only sharpened my skills in music
technology and sound engineering but also fostered a profound understanding
of multimedia content creation and management. From this point, my
enthusiasm for merging technology with creativity truly blossomed.
Professionally, my path has been diverse and rich. From my initial roles at
Laoluo English School to Smartisan Technologies and eventually founding
MarcusLabs, I've embraced various roles - a teacher, a creator of visual
teaching platforms, a multimedia designer, a product manager, and a leader.
Each role has served as a cornerstone, enhancing my expertise and experience
in navigating the multifaceted world of technology and art.

Books
Art is where my soul truly resides. At 27, I embarked on the world of fingerstyle guitar, dedicating three to four hours daily over three years. At 32, I began a journey with the piano, committing three hours each day for a year. By 37, my focus shifted to the violin, an instrument I had practiced in my childhood and which might ultimately become my lifelong love, practicing diligently for two hours daily, a practice I continue to this day. My dedication to musical instruments is not just a personal hobby, nor solely a commitment of time to create immersive parent-child interactive experiences for my child learning violin and piano. I strive to understand the relationship between instrument playing techniques, the emotions of the players, and the essence of music, seeking more humane (including child psychology) teaching methods and exploring new forms of musical expression.
